Highlights

Landscape

The main habitat of the Erindi Private Game Reserve is the Woodland savannah.

With its towering dunes and impressive sense of space, the lonely Namib Desert is believed to be the oldest in the world. The Central Highlands, where thorny savannahs and rugged mountains rise sharply from the plains, gives way to the majestic Fish River Canyon to the south. In the north of the country, landscapes range from the dense thickets and open plains of the vast expanses of Etochapan to forested savannas and lush vegetation.
