Malawi

The Rebublic of Malawi is a 118480 km² landlocked country with a high mountainous landscape in Southeast Africa, which is bisected by the Great Rift Valley and Lake Malawi. The seat of government is in {country_countries.name} and the system of government is a federal presidential constitutional republic. In Malawi live 19.1 people (as of 2020), most of whom belong to the ethnic group "Chewa".

The official national currency is the "Malawian kwacha" (MWK). The two spoken languages (official languages) are English and Chewa. The vast majority of the population professes the Christianity.
