The Rebublic of Cameroon is a 475442 km² state in Central Africa and hosts all major climates and vegetations of the continent. The seat of government is in Yaounde and the system of government is a unitary dominant-party semi-presidential constitutional republic[. In Cameroon live 26.6 people (as of 2020), most of whom belong to the ethnic group "Cameroon Highlanders".
The official national currency is the "Central African CFA franc" (XAF). The most commonly spoken languages (official languages) are English, French, Cameroonian Pidgin and Fula. The vast majority of the population professes Christianity.
Cameroon is Africa in "miniature" and surprises with an incredible diversity of nature and culture. Animal lovers can experience some special highlights in Cameroon, such as the lowland gorilla in the Dja Game Reserve or chimpanzees, forest elephants and well over 300 bird species.
