Landscape

The main habitat of the Mokolodi is the Floodplains.

The landscape is mainly riverine with occasional rocky hills. The parts donated by the farmers form the Bushveld region. The main source of water in this area is the Gwithian Dam. Only 12 km from Gaborone, the reserve is a beautiful retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city. There is a dam on the reserve, and rolling hills stretch to the horizon.
