Stopped by for breakfast, on the way to KZN from Pretoria. Friendly staff but service was slow. Ordered the omelette which was overcooked, baby tomatoes were just chopped in half and chucked in, even put in the green tomatoes. My son ordered the apple pie, the menu said "homestyle apple pie". What we got was a store bought apple pie that was frozen and and then overheated in the microwave. Prices are quiet high as well, R500.00 spent on 2 meals, serving of apple pie and 3 coffees. Very disappointing.

Popped in for a day visit as a stop along route. Kids enjoyed it - always a winner with parents. No lions though. We can specifically because a friend said they have lions. Not anymore.

This use to be a great stop for our family but over the last couple years it has become run down, poorly maintained and the kids play area is not safe for the kids with most items broken, falling apart or rusted. The Thandi Tau restaurant has become a waste of money with the food quality not worth the stop. The service is slow and unapologetic. Truly not a great family stop and given we do this route about 5-6 times a year, not somewhere we would readily stop at again. Rather buy from the garage and continue your journey. The pic is of a cheese sandwich with no cheese and no attempt to even redo.

Just witnessed the best experience in their Sasol garage. I forgot my phone at the garage, they kept it safe for me until I came back to get it. Thank you very much for your loyalty 🙏🙏

We were very disappointed. Everything promised by the website was a lie. No animals, no hot water and service was ridiculous. We were supposed to get a refund for the second night but they are refusing to talk to us. Don't deal with these people they are a rip-off.

Staff very unfriendly, Lady at reception had no clue of our reservation. Grounds not looked after. No fridge in room, no milk and no bottle water. WiFi and Netflix did not work. Restaurant closed at 19:00 so we had to eat take-aways in room. Bedding dirty. Diffinitely not worth R1950-00 per night.

It is a petrol stop in the N3 with nice interiors and a good breakfast, there is small coffee place over there , The signs of WCs were so funny and innovative!!! They have a collection of Old old match boxes and model cars, It is worth stopping by in the middle of your travel

We made a stop for a quick bite, ordered a toasted sandwich, tramezinni, coffee and hot chocolate. All 4 items were terrible. The toasted sandwich wasn't cooked on one side, the coffee was watered down, the tramezinni had no sauce (very dry) and the hot chocolate was not mixed well, too much powdered residue in the glass. Spending R300 for this, gutted me. 😢 Never again!
