River Crossing Lodge

Incredible lodge with a great view. Great atmosphere and great ambience. The food is delicious and the cocktails 🍹 are just as yummy. The lodge is located outside Windhoek, about a 20 minutes drive from the city. The lodge can be reached by sedan. The staff is friendly and helpful . I had an amazing experience here.

My sister's wedding was hosted at River Crossing. The staff was super friendly, exceptionally helpful and the rooms were very clean. The chef did a great job with Italian style buffet. I would recommend this lodge to anyone who woyld like to host an event, get away for a weekend or who is visting Namibia.

We left without spending the night. I am absolutely fine with an occasional insect in the room, but this one was crawling with large spiders and was full of moths and mosquitos. The sheets were not clean, the toilet was neither, and in order to have WiFi, we had to go outside. At least the reception immediately agreed to arrange a refund with the travel agency.

Beautiful lodge if one is looking for a place to relax at. I liked the sunset view and auxiliary scenery with a 'nature' feel. Will be happy to book again whenever I want a place to stay before travelling out of the country or upon returning to Windhoek before getting to the city. An excellent customer service has been demonstrated by staff.

We only stayed one night, but enjoyed our stay. The service was great. Rooms spacey, and the internet speed was amazing. Only the food was a bit “iffy”, mostly the meat too dry/chewy, but the veggies were good.

Absolutely amazing. The best place for your last night in Windhoek (or more), or just a day of chilling by the pool, or the sundowner and dinner. So beautiful, relaxed and comfortable, good food and wine and a great value for money. The perfect combination of close to the city and in the wild

Went as a day visitor to the lodge early in the morning to hike Molteblick. The hike is one of the most beautiful in the Windhoek region, especially if you start early in the morning. The landscape reminds me US national parks in Arizona. View from the top is mindblowing. After the hike I had a extremely good Zebra steak, one of the best pieces of game ever! That all on the fantastic deck on this high perched rock lodge. I will be back...!

We spent the night here on the day we arrived in Namibia. It was about a 35 minute drive from the airport, very scenic. We had an amazing time at this lodge. Dinner and breakfast were really good. The staff were really nice and helpful as well.
