Stepping onto the property feels like stepping into a different world. The accommodation is tucked deep within a dense canopy, offering an immediate sense of seclusion and privacy. Sound travels differently in the forest; all you hear is the wind through the leaves and distant bird calls. It’s an ideal setting for anyone looking to unplug, read, and slow down. We stayed in Units 1 and 3 at Forest Lane Guest House and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Both rooms were beautifully designed, with stylish interior decor and thoughtful touches that made them feel both comfortable and welcoming. The fireplace in Unit 1 was perfect for a chilly September evening, and the showers were absolutely amazing—great water pressure, ideal for anyone who enjoys a truly refreshing shower. Our host’s attention to detail was exceptional. Not only was communication flawless throughout, but she also offered fantastic local recommendations and even shared tips for the Titanic Challenge trail run that brought us to Clarens. With a combination of beautiful rooms, attentive service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Forest Lane is a true gem. Highly recommended and excellent value for money!

Room has everything you need for a one night stay.It is right next to the main house. Bed is very comfortable as well as the shower. I would have appreciated some milk instead of cremora for the coffee. It was not as close to town as I hoped. Not really walking distance with a nasty gravel road if you have a small car. We had a nice stay, thank you
