African Olive

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at African Olive. It is a true treasure of Parys and the crown jewel is the cottage. Its rustic elegance set against the backdrop of the working farm is delightful. The perfect cold and rainy winter weather welcomed in a weekend spent mostly in front of the fireplace with seriously good wine and company. I am not sure what impressed more; the incredibly well equipped cottage or more than enough firewood being available or the impeccable cleaning service every time the streets and restaurants of Parys managed to entice me to venture out into the cold. Thank you for your friendly welcome on a very rainy afternoon. I really hope to be back soon.

Lovely place to stay. Very relaxing and peaceful. Great views of the surrounding countryside. The unit we stayed in is very basic (in a good sense) and have a "homey", warm and inviting feel to it. The unit was also very clean and tidy. There was ample cutlery and crockery, all in good condition. The one couch was a bit uncomfortable though, but all in all we really enjoyed the stay. Deon was very accommodating with our requests (thanks again of you are reading this Deon) and we will definitely use this venue again.

Really excellent stay. The flat was really well laid out and equipped. Our host, Deon, went out of his way to ensure we had a great weekend breakaway. Will definitely visit again and recommend.

A place for your soul to find rest. The peace and tranquility is amazing. Fresh air and farm animals, but the luxury of a cottage with everything you need. The place was neat and tidy. I got more than I expected. The host is very friendly. I just loved my time here!

Home away from Home. The accommodation is very neat and comfortable. The family unit sleeps 4 people. African Olive Estate's units are very well equipped for self catering units. Units are well maintained and very clean. We found staying here is extremely well priced. We really enjoy staying at this lodge. It's been our 3rd visit here and definitely won't be our last.
