The Serengeti is a National Park in Tanzania in the provinces of Mara, Arusha. The park was established on 01.01.1951 and covers an area of 14.763 km². The Serengeti is a Big Five reserve and offers the possibility of self-drive safaris.

The Serengeti stretches from northern Tanzania, across the east of Lake Victoria, to southern Kenya and is one of the most famous parks in Africa. It is synonymous with wildlife and classic African landscapes. It is also the oldest park in Tanzania and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Temperatures in the Serengeti are pleasantly warm during the day in the dry season, but it gets very cool at night.
