The Phinda is a Private Game Reserve in South Africa in the provinces of KwaZulu-Natal. The park was established on 01.01.1991 and covers an area of 0.23 km². The Phinda is a Big Five reserve and offers the possibility of self-drive safaris.

Situated between the Mkuze Game Reserve and the Greater St Lucia Wetland, Phinda is the best private reserve in the region. It is on par with some of the best game reserves in the popular Sabi Sands near Kruger National Park, except that it is completely fenced and therefore not part of a larger ecosystem. The flagship of the reserve is the cheetah and sightings of this graceful cat are second to none.

The main habitat of the Phinda is the Savannah.

Phinda has seven different ecosystems, impressive mountains and jungles alternate with prairies, swamps and marshes. One of these ecosystems is the unique "Sand Forest", which can only be found here and in the south of Mozambique.
