Landscape

The main habitat of the Kwando is the Woodland savannah.

This large private reserve is home to a variety of habitats. There is a riverine forest around the Kwando River. Ebony and marula trees dominate the park. Further south, near the Linyanti Swamps, the landscape is dominated by wide plains, Borassus palms, tree islands and wooded savannah patches.
