The Khaudum is a National Park in Namibia in the provinces of Kavango East Region. The park was established on 01.01.1989 and covers an area of 3.842 km². The Khaudum offers the possibility of self-drive safaris.

The park is situated in the north-east of the country, in the area of the Kalahari Sand Lake. Khaudum is an untouched game reserve and difficult to access, as it is hardly developed for tourism. The park is mainly recommended for experienced 4x4 drivers who drive in convoy.

Landscape

The main habitat of the Khaudum is the Forest.

The vegetation is mostly dense and diverse with large baobab trees dominating the landscape. Between the forested areas there are grassy enclaves that are excellent for wildlife watching. The sandy sea of the Kalahari Sand Lake is criss-crossed by dry watercourses in many places.
