About Hlane Royal

The Hlane Royal is a National Park in Swaziland in the provinces of Lubombo. The park was established on 01.01.1967 and covers an area of 0.22 km². The Hlane Royal offers the possibility of self-drive safaris.

The reserve is located in the north-east of the country, about 70 km from Manzini, and is now one of the top parks for visitors with four of the Big Five (buffalo are not present). In the early 1960s, the park was almost empty, but thanks to the conservation efforts of the Big Game Park and the reintroduction of animals, the park has recovered strongly.
