Wielewaal Bush Lodge

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the WielieWaal Bush lodge in Marloth Park. The rooms were always clean and the staff and Management are exceptionally friendly and helpful. We met some great people here from all parts of South Africa and across the globe. The BOMA dinners are a great social gathering and we formed some new friendships. Willie & Rietta, thank you very much for your hospitality, you are wonderful people and we will be back again, loved it here.

“An unforgettable experience!” This lodge is truly unique and exceptional. The owners are some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet—they clearly care deeply about their guests and go above and beyond to make your stay special. You won’t find better hosts anywhere. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is top-tier. Enjoying breakfast on the patio, surrounded by wildlife, was the perfect way to start each day—an unforgettable highlight. I’m already looking forward to coming back, especially to share this place with my nephews!

My first time at Safari and in South Africa. This place has given me a really amazing memory. The services from the staff and the owner are excellent. They are very helpful and support with everything you need. The activities, airport pick up, especially the breakfast and the dinner are the must to have. I would give 5 star for the lodge and all the services provided. Can’t say anymore word for this place. Please book and you would have a fantastic stay with all you need.

I am still totally impressed by this beautiful accommodation. You stay not near the Bush but right in the middle of it. The lodge is not far from the Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Kruger National Park, but you are entering a total own world by driving through the entrance of Wielewaal Bush Lodge (if the Zebras allow you to 😉). Besides, the very special and gorgeous private rooms/ houses and public areas the most impressive thing there are the owners and the staff. They are all very friendly and welcoming. You do not have the feeling like you are a guest but friends staying there. Additionally, you need to book every food you can at Wielewaal. Everything is so special and delicious, do not miss out on that. Wielewaal is not just staying somewhere, it is a very special experience one should make. We will surely be back at our next journey to South Africa!

It is exactly like the revieuws before me all the good things they say is True. The dinner is just wauw it is just amazing. I love the african food you get. And then also the whole atmosphere around it. The owners and the staff are really friendly! They are so nice. The place is also so beautiful. If we ever go back to south africa. Then we will definitely come back here.

What a place. Heaven on earth and it hugs your soul. Your not going to a business your joining a family being looked after and cared for your entire stay. Good food, awesome accommodation and a big taste of paradise. Please if your also going on safari book with Dillan he is the most attentive safari guide and a you will have a great passionate safari.

Beautiful African-style paradise close to Kruger Park. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and they make you feel right at home. The bar is packed with anything you could possibly want and there are many different, beautifully decorated spots to enjoy your drink. Watch the zebras, warthogs and other animals while having your breakfast and enjoy a superb 3-course dinner in the "boma" (the food is amazing!). Highly recommended!

Wielewaal gave us a magical and incredibly thoughtful stay. Retha made every meal a historic and delicious African experience. Food is three courses and perfectly seasoned each time. The location is wonderful; you can see kudus and bush bucks in the backyard during breakfast. Willie connected us to an amazing safari where we saw lionesses eating buffalo on the side of the road and even leopards! Our safari guide was knowledgeable, experienced, connected, funny, and very kind.
