No lie, Ugab Terrace Lodge has the best customer service. We were welcomed with a home made ice tea. The rooms?? Absolutely beautiful, with an amazing view. Loved the pool. The owners plus the staff? The kindest and welcoming people I have ever met. We felt at home. A special shout out to Ricardo, thank you for an amazing service. To the guys that are responsible for zip lining, may God bless your kind hearts abundantly. To the whole Ugab family, thank you for the warm hospitality. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND????????????

Did not stay in the lodge but did camp at one of their 3 camp sites. Super service, great view and a super camp site and ablution. Was visited by Honey badgers which initially scared the hell out of me, but hey, this is Africa where you need to be prepared for the unexpected

We had a wonderful night at this magic place up in the hills of Damaraland. There you will only hear the sound of the birds singing and can enjoy the best sunsets and sunrises with an amazing view. Dinner was really good and the staff was friendly. The pool is built directly in the rocks, I never saw something like that before.

I have never stayed anywhere with a more breathtaking view. We watched the sunrise from bed in the morning. There is also a small pool which we didn't use. Had some nice drinks at the bar and a set menu for dinner, breakfast was satisfactory. This place is in the middle of no where so there is no wifi but it's a beautiful opportunity to switch off and enjoy the surroundings. The room was also a unique style and had hot showers and comfortable beds as well as a balcony. I feel lucky to have stayed here!

Management was great and walking trail is laid out beautifully and has loads of sightings. Meyer made the stay wonderful.

We stayed at the campsite for one night. Spacious campsite with a great panoramic view! There are only three campsites that are 50meters apart. Moreover, clean private bathroom facilities (with a hot shower with a view over the mountains), private braai and watertap, and a terrace with a sunsheet, but no power. The lodges are on walking distance, though it requires a bit of a workout as you have to walk up a hill. But worth it! You can make use of the swimmingpool and we joined for dinner (which was nice after 10 days of braai) for 250 N$ pp. Last, the staff was very friendly! Definitely worth the visit when you’re visiting Damaraland/Vingerklip
