Angela Farthing T/A The Lookout Guest house

We had an amazing time in the Lookout! We had a very spacious room, with everything you could need. There is also a really nice common area where you could have an amazing view of Port Alfred. The hostess, Angela, was very kind to us and provided lots of recommendations for things to do. Everything was around 5 minutes by car, so we enjoyed the location as well!

The host was friendly and thoughtful. He explained in detail what I needed to know about the place to make my stay comfortable. It was my first experience, but I will definitely go back.

This is a great establishment variously. The apartment meets all requirements of spaciousness, cleanliness and equipment - the kitchen has all necessary utensils. The breakfast was value for money and enjaoyable! The grounds are equally super maintained and landscape with a view to die for Even the cute Schnauzers were well-behaved! What can I say about the hostess! She was most welcoming, warm and friendly and responsive to our needs and requests. Honestly, there's no negative I can mention. We'll definitely have a follow-up visits.

I highly recommend The Lookout Guest House. The place is clean, peaceful, and very comfortable, with excellent hospitality and friendly staff. It truly feels like a home away from home. If you are looking for a safe and relaxing place to stay, this is definitely a great choice.

What a fabulous choice we made! Absolutely loved our stay and Angela was the most exceptional host. We felt so at home. Our little apartment was absolutely perfect . It was fitted and supplied with anything you could possibly need while staying there. We had the use of a lovely little splash pool on a deck with a, "beyond amazing" view. We could not get enough of the beautiful mornings and evenings on the deck. The pictures do not do this Guest house justice. It fully deserves its 4start rating. We will definitely stay there again when we return. Oh almost forgot, we ordered breakfast which was delicious and served outside our apartment, on the deck with the spectacular view over Port Alfred.

From the moment I arrived, The Lookout felt like more than just a guest house. The hosts were genuinely welcoming, anticipating needs I hadn’t even voiced and adding thoughtful touches that made my stay unforgettable. The room was spotless, the view breathtaking, and the atmosphere warm and personal. I left feeling refreshed and cared for—like I’d stayed with friends rather than at a hotel. I can’t wait to return!
