So, I travel a lot. Recently, a few weeks ago exactly, I was making the drive from JoBurg to Cape Town with family. Since I was focused on driving, a dear friend in Austria, sat at his computer and found this hotel. He knows I'm a bit of a snob, but there was nothing else available, as I didn't want to drive in the dark. So, he calls The Hanover, speaks to Louis, and makes our reservation. The pricing was amazing for the family room, which included a queen and 2 twins (though they may have been fulls). I received a WhatsApp message from Louis giving me the details of my reservation, parking instructions, and outlining the evening's menu. Fast forward to my arrival - Louis met me outside and directed me to secure parking. Once inside, my mind was BLOWN! Now, let me say that I worked as an Architectural Designer for many years, and I am a visual artist. I pay great attention to detail in my everyday work as a PM, and let me tell you - whoEVER designed these spaces deserves an award! SHEESH! I love a great boutique hotel, and this one is quirky and special! They thought of everything, and then some! I made several videos and just couldn't stop commenting on the beauty and all the nuances and niche spaces they created. Ok, so besides that, the room was HUGE, the shower was HUGE (party of 5, anyone?), and everything was clean. The cute coffee station in the room, with the biscotti, the mini-fridge equipped with free bottled water (in America, they charge), all the lighting made it moody and sexy, yet functional. And...NO TV! This was fine with us. The beds were so comfy, too. The lovely courtyard with the funny frog sculptures sitting on a bench, to the lovely pool... Lastly, our dinner was amazing and the bartender took special care to make a specific drink I ordered, to my liking! All in all, if I had occasion to, I'd go again. The only drawback was the town itself. I am glad the idea is to gentrify Hanover, but they've got a long way to go. Such a big investment - I hope it pays off for the stakeholders. My files (videos) are too large to upload, sorry, but do look at the pix from posts within the last few months, and you'll likely see what I saw.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Hanover Luxury Hotel for a brief meeting, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the warm and friendly staff, setting a welcoming tone for my visit. The hotel itself exudes a unique charm, with rooms that boast a stylish and comfortable design. It's evident that great attention has been paid to every detail, ensuring a luxurious stay for all guests. But what truly sets The Hanover apart is its culinary offerings. The food here is simply out of this world – a delightful experience for any food enthusiast. The venue, with its elegant ambiance, complements the exquisite dining experience perfectly. Based on this wonderful experience, The Hanover Luxury Hotel is undoubtedly my top choice for my next stay. Whether you're here for a quick meeting or a longer stay, this hotel promises an unforgettable experience with its exceptional service, stylish rooms, and outstanding cuisine.

What an oasis in the middle of nowhere!! Don't let the drive into Hanover put you off - it's most definitely worth the stop! Off street parking, exquisite gardens, decor and rooms! The service was phenomenal and the food excellent!! A jaw dropping experience!

Tempted to give a 3 star because the food I had had too much vinegar and the service was below standard. They also have no menu for the bar (or I was not given, it gave me an impression that they did not want to serve me) Service was either prideful and too full of themselves or passive and not intention to serve you unless you ask. But I give it a 4 because the room was decorated beautifully, food like the lamb chop, chicken lemon was amazing. Also the mission and vision behind the hotel of uplifting the city is 100% something I support. They collaborated with chefs, artist to give a place where you can rest while being inspired. Though I see that some complain some things does not work, it might be good to check everything before settling in the room. Poverty is seen clearly outside the hotel but stepping in the hotel puts you in a different world. hope that them pinoeering will encourage more businesses to be build in Hanover.

The Town is run down, does not look like much from the outside but is amazing on the inside... Was stunned!! Only downside is the menu that lacks a Burger and fries

Very nice place. On the way from Johannesburg we stayed there. Very good staff. Great service. Every thing was great. Jaquis was amazing and helpful (please Dont mind if the spelling of Name is not correct). Food and breakfast is also good. We can't expect better then this. Very secure parking, small but beautiful pool, nice ambience. Hot water can be improved.
