Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge

Absolutely WONDERFUL! The staff are super friendly, the food is delicious, the rangers do have a lot of knowledge, the room itself was amazing. The bed was very comfy + big and the shower with the view is phenomenal.

Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast, lunch and dinner are of well above average quality. The staff is helpful, very friendly and always there with a broad smile to fulfill your wishes. Actually, everyone here should be mentioned for his or her good care, but if you meet Luyanda your day can't go wrong! What a wonderfully sweet, friendly lady she is! To cross the t's and dot the i's, general manager Dries is visibly present every day to check in with the guests and ensure that everything is to their liking. This level of service is rare and can only be rated with a full score!

Had a fabulous time to celebrate my birthday here. Staff are excellent and the rooms are incredibly priced. Been to several of the private parks in the area, but they're not worth the jump in price compared to here. Only issue with the game drives, is that you are restricted to the tracks as it's in the National Park. Not a huge issue due to the amount of game, but sometimes I wished we could have gone in further about 5 meters into the bush for a better photo.

One of the highlights of this trip. Great staff, good food, great location. Plenty of wildlife Good game drives Only saw one of the big cats, but many elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, kudu, pumba, etc etc Need to improve road to the lodge....best travel in a 4x4

We stayed for 2 days at the Rhino Ridge Safari Lodge. The whole place is just magnificent. The entire staff is outstanding friendly and really take care that you absolutely feel welcomed. The villas, the view and the entire setting is 100% worth it. I forgot my sunglasses in the villa and the lady from the management (don't know her name unfortunately) brought them to me by following us 10km down the gravel road on the day we left. This is what I consider going the extra mile. the whole place is defintely a must go when visiting Hluhluwe. Thanks again for that incredible experience.

First of the 3 Isbindi lodges in northern KZN for our honeymoon. LODGE: Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Rooms were large, had aircon, shower that opened to outside, cute deck/balcony for views of surrounding hills, bed massive with great moscato net. Infinity pool has an incredible view of Hluhluwe-Imfolozi National Park. Food was excellent and abundant with choice. Breakfast had choice of different fry ups, continental breakfasts, fruit/muesli. Lunch was a ‘high-tea’ with a bunch of different savoury and sweet dishes. Dinner was a three-course meal with choices for starters and mains which is chosen at lunch. ACTIVITIES: Game drives - fantastic and knowledgeable guides. Park is packed with wildlife. Saw 4 of Big 5 (no leopard unfortunately!), wild dogs, many types of buck and over 80 bird species. Spa - great treatments and amazing massages. Bush Walk - an optional extra but highly recommend. Allows you to really get a feel of the bush and see it from a different view. Great for spotting the harder to get birds! January can get quite hot and humid so be prepared! Overall a wonderful experience and highly recommend anyone thinking of coming to Rhino Ridge. The team has created something truly special within Hluhluwe-Imfolozi.

We had the most pleasant experience at Rhino River Lodge. The lodge and the facilities are impeccable, with very comfortable rooms. The guide and staff are very helpful and make the experience of the safari unforgettable. Thank you!

Very helpful and friendly staff, food very tasty, guide tried the best to show the big and small "5". Internet is sometimes a bit challenging due to load shedding. Very clean and neat! I can recommend the Rhino Safari Lodge inside Hluhluwe/Umfolosi Game Park.
