FROM CAPE TOWN - 500 km, approx. 5 - 6 hrs drive Take the N2 (national road) directly through Wilderness and Sedgefield. As you approach Knysna you will see the 'Belvidere' sign. Continue straight across the bridge - you will pass a sign for Knysna (6kms). The road now winds around the lagoon. 3 km FROM THE BRIDGE THERE IS A SIGN FOR 'THE POINT' (B&B) WHERE YOU TURN OFF TO THE RIGHT. Turn immediately to the right again and follow the signs to 'POINT LODGE' (approx 100m). If you get into town you have gone too far and need to come back approx 2kms! FROM PORT ELIZABETH - 250 km, approx. 2½ - 3 hrs drive Take the N2 (national road) directly through Tsitsikamma, past Plettenberg Bay and into Knysna. Drive straight through Knysna town on the main road. The last set of traffic lights is at the intersection with Waterfront Drive. Continue straight along the N2 for a further 2kms, until there is a sign for 'THE POINT' (B&B) WHERE YOU TURN OFF TO THE LEFT. Follow the signs to 'POINT LODGE' (approx. 100m). If you get as far as the Belvidere bridge, you have gone too far and need to come back approx 3kms!

We have the privilege to stay here know for a couple of years every June/July,awesome view,awesome staff and owner,beautifull view and close to eveything,you are treaded here like family, I will recommend this beautiful place to anyone,enjoy the lagoon and swimming pool with a nice cold beer.

We really enjoyed our stay. Overall, the cottage had a very nice and cozy feeling. Friendly guests and staff members who enjoy conversation with guests and making new friends. The food was delicious. Unfortunately, the flies were attracted to the food, which was standing on the tables, uncovered. The cat must have had a nap on the table where we sat, which left some cat hairs on our table. With only a few details which need some attention, the overall experience was lovely and we had a nice time. Loved the bar fridge with complimentary drinks available. We will definitely return. Thank you.

We had a wonderful time at Point Lodge in Knysna. The rooms are big and the view is amazing. Breakfast is very good and there’s a nice big pool where you can relax for a bit. The owner of the place (Ryk) and the manager (James) are very friendly and genuinely interested guys willing to help you with anything! Knysna is a cute town, we especially enjoyed the waterfront (have the famous oysters at 34 South!) and driving through the islands for some sightseeing.

We’re in mid December not so crowded but we really enjoyed the place. The views, breakfast, rooms also owner was very charming. I recommend the place and the stuff
