We had a very pleasant week here. Peaceful and quiet. Liked the rustic french theme throughout. Very spacious room 15; clean and tidy and comfortable bed. Superb croissants top off an already satisfying breakfast offering. Parking requires concentration to reverse out, but not a big deal. Maybe an automated self serve espresso machine (not nespresso) during breakfast as alternative to drip filter? Just my preference.

What a wonderful B&B, living up to all of the great reviews that it gets. Beautiful establishment, great location, pristine premises and rooms and such charming staff. Hlengiwe and Nina made our stay memorable, with Nina ensuring you have an amazing breakfast, that offers freshly baked croissants and chocolate croissants. Perfect stay.

I like to write reviews while I'm lying in the room able to really say how the experience feels. We are travelling with a 16 month old baby too. A truly exquisit French vibe, decor and ambiance of an antique boutique hotel in France - I feel like I could open my curtains and see the Eifel Tower and people riding their bikes with a Baguette in their baskets. Comfortable beds, stunning bath. Air-conditioning which can be a saving grace for a sweaty, hot, teething child. Coffee is great. I love my coffee... and this morning it was delicious. Breakfast is great With a lovely choice of different breakfast foods. It's quiet and we have our own patio, TV , mini fridge with a little milk In the fridge for our teas and coffees. It is evident that every last detail has been thought of throughout the whole property. HOWEVER - I did just ask the kitchen staff if they could boil my daughters milk bottles in some hot water on a stove. The kitchen staff were lovely and ok with it but the lady manager refused and actually said I could come boil it on the stove myself. Which I said fine... but then proceeded to put hot water in the pot and give me the pot. We had been travelling for days and needed to sterilise them - so eventually my mother actually insisted they boil my bottles...(I'm a bit of a push over) Done with much hesitation from the lady manager- I went to check on them and get them back Literally just needed to be boiled for a few minutes .. I said "thank you so much - we have been travelling so long with those stinky bottles" with a big smile on my face... And the managers goes... "Oh and she survived?!" Haha.. I mean.. bit of an underhand comment there... sorry I won't risk my kid getting thrush on the tongue from dirty bottles ? Anyway. It got done. I just wish they were a bit more understanding and just boiled my bottles on a stove for a few minutes without a huff. Other than that ...? I'd come back. And we are staying an extra night.

Well we just arrived here for a nice long stay so on arrival i find this is a "gem" hidden for many years that i have been to the North Coast. We booked the Cabin (due to the longer stay) and on arrival everything was 10/10 and very impressive, very friendly staff and a stunning Cabin. Have a look at the photos for now and i will keep you posted. ?

A beautiful French setting with spacious rooms and a nice garden/pool area. Entrance hall and lounge nice and relaxing with soft, easy music in the background. Standard condiments in room and bathroom. Breakfast are standard egg variants with fruits and sufficient with some freshly baked croissants in a relaxing setting. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking can be somewhat tight and there are some areas requiring maintenance, however not in your face type. You can drive to restaurants in the area, pending your requirement will determine the distance. Relaxing and quiet at night.
