From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed into a beautifully decorated, spacious, and immaculately clean home that truly felt like a sanctuary. The house is thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need – from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable, air-conditioned bedrooms and modern bathrooms. The outdoor area is a dream – a sparkling pool, a serene garden filled with birdsong, and a lovely patio perfect for relaxing or enjoying a braai with family and friends. The location is ideal too: quiet, yet just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. What truly sets Pelican's Nest apart is the warm hospitality of the hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, offering helpful local tips and making us feel genuinely cared for. The daily housekeeping and solar power were fantastic touches that added to the comfort and convenience. We spent 27 days traveling through South Africa, staying at 14 different places along the way. Of them all, The Pelican Nest was by far the most surprising and breathtaking place we stayed—truly a hidden gem that stood out above the (r)(n)est. Whether you're traveling with family, friends, or pets, this home offers the perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and adventure. We can't wait to return – Pelican's Nest is truly a home away from home!

Lovely place to stay, very clean and private. Definitely planning to stay longer the next time if we are heading back for the 3rd time. I do not bother to look for any alternative accommodation. This house feels like home.

Pelican's Nest has everything you need and very comfortable. It is close to town and the beach and the staff is friendly and helpful. Would return there anytime.

The home is very impressive, it's in a great location in a quiet street but only 300m away from the main street. We met Thuli & Moses when we arrived and they looked after the grounds & cleaned the home every day and their warm welcome helped make our stay memorable. Our host Bianca was in contact with us before and during our stay, providing us with lots of helpful information about the area and things to do.

We had an excellent stay. Bianca and team do everything to make you feel welcomed. The house is well located, clean and has all the needed for a great holiday. Will be back soon.

Clean and very well equiped house! Especially enjoyed the pool and braai area where we spend most of our time when not at the beach. Can definitely see us coming back.
