We spent 3 nights here with breakfast. The food was great and cleaning and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The room was great too, nice and big for a couple with a toddler. They cleaned the room every day and gave us clean towels. The setting was also great, animals on the farm entertained my daughter. We would recommend this place to stay and must be wonderful in the summer when the pools can be used😊

A great find - a shame we only had time to stay for one night as would have loved to have stayed longer! Well presented with on site animals (rabbits, guinea pigs and ostriches to feed) which kept our teens entertained and happy! A lovely setting and great restaurant with great staff all round.

We had a beautiful 2-night stay in Old Mill Lodge. The location is very nice and it's a plus the fact that it has a restaurant within the campsite. We had a 2-bedroom room with two bathrooms for the four of us. The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was also good. The facilities are a bit worn out and old fashioned but all in all, the hotel is good value for money.

Staff was arrogant and lazy. We didn't feel welcome at all. Only the lady at the breakfast room did a very good job. Our room was also freezing cold. We did not sleep at all. Pictures must be updated, It does not look the way as on pictures. Very disappointed.

Had a nice time at old mill lodge. They are situated beautifully between the mountains with very nice views and a great time for the kids with all the animals that are on the premises. The food at the restaurant was okey and not worth the price paid, but for self catering and just to relax they are very good and the service was very good as well.

In the foothills of the Swartberg mountains this picturesque spot has good food and lots of different room types and configurations, making it particularly good for families. The kids' playground and several petting areas had my kids asking if we could stay another night. My one pet peeve was that the dining and lodging bills are all separate, so you need to pay at the restaurant each time for dinner or breakfast rather than just add it all to the room. Other than that, comfortable beds, clean rooms and a nice quiet setting made for an enjoyable stay!

We had a very nice and adventurous (because of loadshedding and relatively cold temperatures) overnight stay in a Safari tent at Old Mill Lodge. The tent was large and well equipped with own bath room, tv, coffee/tea facilities and a heat pump (for heating and cooling). Old Mill Lodge is surrounded by nature, they have some ostriches and everything is very well kept and beautiful. The breakfast had wide offering of warm and cold breakfast foods. The quality was good, nothing fancy but it was tasty in our opinion. The staff was very nice and helpful with all our questions. The location is very good for visiting Cango Caves, it was about 10 minute drive. We happened to stay there during a cold night and because of loadshedding the electric blanket and heating couldn't be on, so it got quite cold inside the tent. The accommodation is not to blame od course, it wasn't their fault!
