Nkorho Bush Lodge

The Ranger and Tracker were great. We saw more than we bargained for for. Even a pack of wild dogs. All and all, great experience. The food menu could use a bit of refinement

An unbelievable experience. Despite a bit of wet weather we had an unforgettable time. Stayed for 4 nights and did 8 drives with Pieter and Chris. They were such an awesome duo and it was fascinating to see how they would work together to track different animals. We managed to see the big 5 for our first safari which surpassed expectations. All the staff at the lodge were great. Food was amazing. Would highly recommend!!

My partner and I had an incredible stay at Nkhoro. We were sadly only there for 1 night, but wished we could've stayed a little bit longer. Rifos and Ruan were our tracker and guide and they were phenomenal. Ruan told us when we arrived he was going to try and get the big five for us before we left, and he did! I know it's not a guarantee what animals you will see, but he went above and beyond along with Rifos to get us great sightings. Additionally, Ruan was so knowledgeable about not just the different species but also the individual animals and their stories. While at the lodge we saw many animals while we were walking to and from our room like a family of warthogs and some beautiful birds. They also have a resident group of about 50 impala who like to chill on the grass all day. When we arrived for our first lunch they had given us a bottle of champagne and a happy anniversary card which was a lovely touch. From greeting us to when we departed the service and friendliness of everyone there was above and beyond. Nkhoro is a home away from home, with a luxurious feel. Every meal was delicious, you won't go hungry. A huge thank you to the whole team, and Ruan and Rifos especially for giving us the most incredible stay and start to our trip. We are already planning our return and will be sure to stay a bit longer.

My husband and I came for our honeymoon and had the most incredible time! The staff were all so wonderful, the room was perfect, the food was delicious, and the grounds were beautiful. Our guide and tracker, Matt and David, truly delivered. They were so knowledgeable and answered all of our questions, we learned so much. We saw the big 5 and even had a leopard and her cub on the property! I’m so glad we chose this lodge and we’re hoping to come back again someday.

Nkhoro lodge was the best holiday experience of our lives ❤️ we saw the big five within 24hrs of arriving thanks to the amazing skills and expertise of our guide and tracker Pieter and Chris who really enhanced the experience for us. We dined under the stars, luxuriated by the pool, drank far too much wine, ate like royalty and were treated like family. The entire experience - from booking to game drives to lodgings - was truly spectacular and magical and we can not wait to return. Thank you all so much for such a wonderful experience!

I was not expecting such a magical experience. There was really nothing to fault. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom large with generous bench space. There was even an outdoor shower, which was fun. The view from the front porch seemed to have a never ending parade of animals heading to the dam for a drink. The staff were amazingly friendly and welcoming and the meals fabulous. The guides made the safaris fun, going out of the way across country to make sure we saw most of the animals in their environment. We’ll never forget the experience.

Fantastic lodge, five star amenities, with great heart among the staff, skilled rangers and spotter (with eyes like a hawk). Definitely a top pick within the Sabi Sands.

This place is one of the best lodge outside Kruger. Their guides are amazing, they work hard so much to make sure that you have best experience in the game drives . Guided bush walks are amazing experience, I learnt so much new things about wild life, their behavior and fauna in the are . Thank you Ruan, Kayla and rest of the gang .
