Nkorho Bush Lodge

Nkorho is very big, and if you're a young couple, it's a perfect ? place to start exploring lodge life experience. The rooms are very good and beautiful inside, I'm just allergic to the roofing smell but overall man, it's a good place to spend less and they have some of the best game drives

This is a very premium resort with great staff. The resort is located inside Sabi Sands Game reserve. It has exclusivity, huge places to walk around, Impalas come and sit around and it has many open places and lounge zones Staff is amazing and always ready to help. especially the Rangers are outstanding. Naming few staff ( but all were very very good) Matt Deon Layala the 2 ladies serving food Owners themselves are involved and always ready to help. Its difficult to separate the owners from employees, as the dedication and excitement shown by employees is as good The vehicles for game park visit are well maintained. There are 2 trips daily and the rangers do their best to show you whatever is possible Rooms are big. Very Spaciaous SUGGESTIONS for improvements 1. food is very average for the kind of cost we pay 2. Lights in the room are flash lights which are not good at all. They should be subtle lighting and warm glow. If you switch on all the lights, the room looks over bright and the lights hit your eyes too.

I recently had disappointing experience of staying at this luxury safari lodge in South Africa, and I must say that my experience fell far short of the high praise it received from other guests. In comparison to other lodges in South Africa and the surrounding region, this place left much to be desired. First and foremost, the lodge exudes a fake sense of luxury that borders on pretentiousness. The overall ambiance and atmosphere felt forced and unjustified. Moreover, the food served at the lodge was nothing short of a disappointment. Comparable to airplane food in terms of quality, it failed to live up to the expectations one would have for a luxury lodge. Regrettably, the level of privacy provided by the lodges varied greatly. The specific lodge I was checked into faced a common area, affording me little to no privacy during my stay. Basic privacy is certainly an expectation one would have, especially when staying at a luxury establishment. The game rides offered by the lodge were another letdown. Instead of an authentic and immersive experience, it felt like we were simply being shuttled from one spot to another based on information received through the driver's radio. There was no effort made towards animal tracking or creating a more organic experience. Instead, we found ourselves queuing with other cars to catch a glimpse of the same wildlife. To make matters worse, our driver frequently exceeded the speed limit and exhibited behavior that could be considered animal harassment, such as loudly opening and shutting the doors to attract the animals' attention. Despite these shortcomings, I feel compelled to acknowledge the efforts of the hotel manager who genuinely tried to address the main issues I encountered during my stay. Their attentiveness and dedication were notable, and I appreciated their efforts.

Such a beautiful place to visit, the staff was so polite and helpful!! The meals were awesome and definitely take a guide on the grounds, will not disappoint. I would definitely go back again.

We had a nice stay with our family at Nkorho Bush Lodge. The rooms were big and clean. Staff was always helpful and were really friendly. The safari was extraordinary! Deon and freeman made sure, that we see everything possible and were the best Tracker/Ranger.

Once again another fantastic stay at Nkorho, our third return From the moment you turn onto Nkorho's property you are welcomed by your Guide allocated to you (Deon guide), Tracker (Freeman) and the reception lady with a refreshing welcome drink All our meals from breakfast to dinner were absolutely incredible, my Fiancée is highly allergic to paprika, cayenne pepper and chilli and the chef made sure everytime that her meal had none of the above mentioned and was safe for her to eat. The staff at Nkorho Lodge are always super happy and always whiling to go the extra mile on anything you needed or didn't even need. The rooms are just breathtakingly beautiful, double showers for two to enjoy our even an outside shower to experience. The beds are so comfy and one struggles to get out of bed when you get your wake up call at 5:30am from your Guide for the morning safari drive Our 6 game drives with Deon and Freeman were next level, I was a guide myself and some sightings I had never experienced until being at Nkorho So of our highlights were tracking a lioness and 4 young lions from the Talamati breakaway, we heard hyena whooping in the background and the lioness was on a mission to follow up on the hyena calls, shortly after another young male lion from the Nkuhuma pride took a young Buffalo down and all hell broke lose when the lioness found the carcass We had lions fighting and hyena whooping all around us Incredible leopard sightings and much more to mention I would highly recommend anyone to visit this incredible Lodge without any hesitation You will not regret one minute of your stay there A huge thank you to Anja (GM) Deon (guide) Freeman (Tracker) and to all the staff at Nkorho Lodge for making our third stay an unforgettable one Came as friends and left as family We will see you all soon for definite Cole and Dani

Nkorho lodge was an amazing experience for my wife and I as first time Safari travelers. The experienced rangers found all the animals on our list and provided insightful commentary on the wildlife while giving us close but safe encounters on our 2x day game drives. The rooms were as expected with comfortable bedding, a/c optionality, and 2x daily turn down service. We both also received massages which were a great way to relax between morning / evening drive. Also had no problems with insects. The staff though is what made Nkorho unforgettable. Everyone was friendly, shared plenty of stories while we enjoyed our amazing gin and tonics at the pool bar, and provided great meals in a serene campfire setting. Special thanks to our ranger Matt and tracker Chris! Unbelievable experience watching the lions up close in action! We will be back.
