Nkorho Bush Lodge

We’ve been to many places around the world and this is the place I’ve had the hardest time leaving, everyone and everything was incredible, the people were superb, the game drives are unforgettable, and the accommodations spectacular. One of the best experiences we’ve ever had!

A truly wonderful and unforgettable experience. We spent 3 nights here and got to see all of the big 5! If you love safaris and seeing wild animals in their natural habitats, this is the best place. Twice daily game drives give you ample opportunities to see the wildlife, and even if you choose not to join, there are always lots of animals gathering in front of the lodge for your viewing pleasure. The bushwalks are a hit or miss given that most animals have a natural fear of humans. Lunch and dinner options are great, though some desserts may not be to everyone's tastes. Chalets are spacious, clean and equipped with everything you can expect from a top hotel in the city (except for a TV, which you shouldn't be wasting time watching anyway). We want to give our special appreciation to Kayla for helping to settle our airport transfer when we had missed our flight, Ruan for his enthusiasm and boldness in chasing down every lead (even thru thick undergrowth) so we can see the animals up close, and Rifos for his understated expertise and skill in tracking down all the animals.

This place is one of the best lodge outside Kruger. Their guides are amazing, they work hard so much to make sure that you have best experience in the game drives . Guided bush walks are amazing experience, I learnt so much new things about wild life, their behavior and fauna in the are . Thank you Ruan, Kayla and rest of the gang .

Our first Safari and we couldn’t have met it any better ✨ without exactly knowing what we have to expect we where impressed by the first minute we arrived! Family friendly hospitality combined with a stunning view into the landscape topped up with an amazing lodge and the first food was mouth watering 🤩 Everyone is supportive, happy to explain details around animals and how things work (even dumb questions for newies like us where answered in a lovely way!) The first safari in the afternoon after arrival brought us to Lions, Elephants and so many more natural wonders! Every Safari is different and always full of surprises which will keep for a lifetime ✨🫶 Special thanks to Pieter and Chris for the amazing experiences during the Safari - Anja, Karl, Matt and everyone else for the lovely service in the lodge and during our whole stay! We stayed at Nkorho Bush Lodge last May, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the incredible service, stunning location, and the warm hospitality of the entire team. Everything exceeded our expectations in every way. One of the highlights of our stay was getting engaged during our visit! The team went above and beyond to help make the proposal a magical and seamless experience. We want to give special thanks to our ranger, Ruan, and our tracker, Freeman, whose expertise, warmth, and attention to detail made our safari adventures and the proposal truly extraordinary. The food was phenomenal—every meal was a culinary delight—and the overall attention to detail was simply remarkable. Whether it was the breathtaking game drives, the luxurious accommodations, or the genuine care from the staff, everything contributed to making this trip one of the most memorable experiences of our lives. Nkorho Bush Lodge is my #1 choice for safaris in South Africa. The staff was warm and inviting and made you feel like family from the moment you were on the property until your last day. They really know how to get you to want to come back! The amenities were plentiful even out in the bush of the Sabi Sands reserve. The wi-fi was consistent and high-speed even for video calls back home. The rooms were spacious and always kept clean. They clean them during the morning safari and the evening one as well. Our room (Chalet #4) had indoor and outdoor showers. They also have complimentary cherry in the room as well. The workout room is decent enough for what you need. Lots of dumbells, a bench, a rowing, machine, and a static bike. There is a training machine for many different exercises. The service staff were all so helpful and kind. The guides and trackers were so knowledgeable and you can tell they love their jobs and are passionate about spreading that to others. We had Pieter and Chris as our guide and tracker for our trip this year. Rowan was also super cool and always quick to get us what we needed or answer any questions we had. Kayla welcomed us first and was so great to help us get anything we needed. And I feel terrible but I totally forgot the husband and wife's name that were also amazingly gracious and quick to get us any drink/food we desired! I definitely plan on returning again!

We had a wonderful stay at this very unique lodge. Wonderful and friendly staff led by Anya. Game Drives were very special.They went over and above to assist us with our kosher requirements. Thank you!

What a great safari lodge! The view from the deck was great. You can see the watering hole and animals come and go from it all day long. The game drives were wonderful as well. We saw the big 5 within 24 hrs! We also saw giraffes, hippos, cheetah, wild dogs and many more. The rangers were very knowledgeable. Pieter has great enthusiasm for helping guests spot all sorts of animals. The food is top notch, so delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious. All lodge staff were so friendly and attentive to your needs. Nkorho did a fabulous job on our safari adventures. We were fully satisfied with every aspect of this bush lodge.
