A Wonderful Stay ,Warm, Safe, and Perfect in Every Way We had an absolutely lovely stay at this guesthouse. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere was warm, respectful, and inviting. The rooms were modern, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was freshly prepared with care and attention it ,was a delicious start to each day. As two women traveling alone, feeling safe was very important to us, and this place truly delivered. We always felt secure and well looked after. Collien, the host, was amazing kind , attentive, and always there when we needed something. Her heartfelt hospitality made our stay truly special. Everything was perfect, and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended! Aziza ❤️

Hide Away is an amazing place to stay when in Knysna. Colleen and Cecil were great hosts - once we arrived, she provided a good overview of the region and activities happening in Knysna during the Oyster festival. The rooms are great, with plenty of space and their house is well located, less than 5’ from the main restaurants in the town and with easy access to the N2 - whether you are going East or West. The breakfast is good and their amenities are high quality. Highly recommended for those on the Garden Route!

Unfortunately Hide-Away Guest House canceled our December booking very late (in November) due to the owner that needed to stay in the unit for the holidays. They referred us to another guest house. We were squeezed into a one bedroom non-self catering unit with our five month old baby. What an inconvenience! Luckily we could find other accommodation and only had to stay two nights. Truly unacceptable.

We can highly recommend staying with the Hide Away Guesthouse. The rooms are flawless, super clean and very well maintained. The place has been renovated just recently and everything is in perfect shape. Colleen and her husband Cecil are an absolute dream team and the best hosts. We were late and had to check in very late and both were very patient with us and made us feel at home all the the way. Both gave us excellent tips for the region. The breakfast is also very good.We would stay here again, for sure.

Beautiful guest house with the best guest hosts. Extremely friendly and sufficient service. We even received an upgrade as part of our honeymoon gift.
