A Hidden Gem with Fabulous Staff – A Memorable Birthday Stay We stayed at Gwavumbe for just one night to celebrate my husband's birthday, and it was absolutely perfect – a true hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome and special. Their warmth and attention to detail really stood out, going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The atmosphere was peaceful and beautifully maintained, with little touches that made all the difference. You can tell the team genuinely cares about their guests’ experience. Even though it was just a short stay, it created a lasting memory for both of us. If you're looking for a special place with fabulous service, Gwavumbe is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

So stunning and great pricing, we did the drive and lunch. The guide was amazing and the food was lovely. Because it was a self service, a few of us didn’t get dessert was was disappointing. Otherwise the mains were plentiful and lovely. The drive was lovely, it just was a bit big for us so we were put together with a loud group which made hearing the guide difficult even though we were the second row behind him. Maybe I would recommend a mic as controlling people maybe hard but we still wanted the full experience. Overall it was lovely and I would return.

I recently had the most amazing stay at Gwahumbe in the newly refurbished “Eagles Nest”. It was stunning! I loved my private balcony bath - what a pleasure to soak serenaded by a night jar. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I slept so well enfolded in soft cotton bedding. I also enjoyed a wonderful relaxing massage with a therapist who adjusted the pressure (more gentle!) to suit my request! All the staff are so friendly - I was greeted by everyone which is a big plus in my book. Animals, views, cocktails, delicious food - say no more! I would 100% recommend taking a break at Gwahumbe!

Had a great experience did the mini luxury package but ended up doing only the game drive because I had car trouble. Jack is amazing had an informative tour , great site seeing and relaxing.

Service is satisfactory- staff at restaurant / spa needs to improve wrt skill . Reception staff is adequate. Hot water needed some attention but service provider there was efficient for this issue .

We did a spa day and game drive. Excellent service from the team and Maxwell our ranger was the best, he was a great driver and very knowledgeable. The lunch was delicious and the menu catered for everyone's taste. Definitely worth the time and money.

Been here for 2 nights. Excellent service. Food is good. Peaceful surroundings. If you looking for an escape from the city life this is the place to be. Scenic views of green lushful areas. Quaint spots to chill. Enjoy nature at its best 👌.
