A very beautiful place wouldn't mind going back there again

Was a super great evening spent, with family and friends.

Its my third visit to this place. And will come back again and again if I need accommodation in East London. You always get treated like family. They are always helpfull and friendly. There is no need to drive to town for food. The food here is tops and more than enough. Stunning views from the restaurant area and the rooms. You wont make a mistake staying at Gulu. Well worth it. The people giving these guys a bad rating obviously did something wrong or they are the type that is impossible to satisfy.

Great stay, friendly hosts. We were pampered and spoiled from the start Awesome views and food was delicious.

We had the pleasure of having our wedding hosted at Gulu. I do not have words to truly explain how amazing our event was. Every detail was taken care of by Ilona and Karien. Nothing was too much to ask. They made sure every detail was attended too. The food was on another level. All the guests commented on how this was one of the best wedding menu's they have ever had! Absolutely delicious and authentic. The decor was done by the team, and once again, wow!!! Attention to detail! I could go on and on. But if you are reading this, trying to decide whether to host your wedding at Gulu. Stop reading and just book it. It will be amazing Thank you Karien and Ilona! You made our wedding extra special!

I can not speak more highly of this resort. The factors behind this review are the absolutely lovely kind hearted family who run the resort, the food is all home made and delicious, the location and views are superb, and the feeling of calm and relaxation is he first thing you are welcomed with..... very few places have this affect on me!!! Rolo the dog is also a massive USP!! Have fun to all who experience what I did.
