We spent 7 nights in Fundu Lagoon for our honeymoon. It was the most special trip..the resort is stunning, and the attention to detail and quality of service is impeccable. All the staff were amazing and every request accomadated. The resort is quite wild with monkeys at the pool and bush babies at dinner. Particular highlights were the dolphin safari and sunset cruise.

I do not think I will ever stay in another place like this again in my life. Fundu Lagoon blew us away from the moment we turned the corner on the boat and saw the beautifully clear blue sea shining back at us and a swarm of mangroves waving at us. I honestly could have cried at seeing something so beautiful in real life. Our stay was absolutely incredible. The General manager, Hannes, was amazing and upgraded us to the Superior Suite for our Honeymoon. The Superior Suite was awesome and we felt very lucky to be upgraded. The staff were incredibly professional and they always went above & beyond to ensure the best service and that we had we needed. On to the food & drink – WOW! Honestly the food was delicious and so fresh, with the quality being 5* - thank you to chef and the team for providing varied meals for the 9 nights we were there and for putting on a fantastic beach BBQ, as well as a private dinner for my husband & I. We did a couple of day trips including snorkeling to Misali Island & Dolphin Watching. Both trips are highly recommended and were real highlights of our stay. I can’t vouch for this place enough, it truly is like being in Paradise, with beautiful beaches, impeccable service & fantastic facilities (such as the pool & the bars). If you are deciding on whether to visit Fundu Lagoon, I honestly would recommend as you will not be disappointed, (until you have to leave)!

This place is a treasure for your personel development. We went here for only 3 days and came out with a massiv amount of energy and peace in mind. Rooms, food, staff and everything around it is absolutely top class. We'll be back soon.

Had an absolute fantastic weekend there, location, food and service all perfect. Heard the Pemba Scops Owl in the night, enjoyed the grown up indigenous forest that embedding the lodge, and had a fantastic snorkeling at the Misali Corsl Reef

The most beautiful place to stay in Zanzibar..the island of Pemba is still authentic, undeveloped and utterly beautiful. Fundu has shown the environment utter respect by building a gloriously understated yet luxurious lodge nestled on the shores of the Lagoon and shaded by magnificent trees and gardens filled with birds, butterflies and very well behaved monkeys. I cried with joy when I arrived and she genuine tears of sorrow to leave.

A late comment (exactly 5 years late!) We had great time.. pretty remote.. that’s what I liked most.. diving options were not many but if you are a beginner it will satisfy you for sure.. I will not go again but it was a great once in a life time experience..
