Horrible service, have to transfer you to bookings, they do not answer then you get told that someone will phone you back but they do not. Then when you phone back trying to book once again they say the same thing or tell you to send an email. The refuse to give a manger's number citing the POPI Act. They do not seem to want or need business. Terrible service especially for a guesthouse.

Worst experience of my life,Shane the owner needs to sell this establishment to somebody that gives a damn,dont even waste your time at this guesthouse,Ive struggled 2 hours to make a booking then to be told the price I was given is wrong,I need to pay more,then when I try phoning Shane,I get a voicemail each time,the lady at front desk then proceeds to ticktock,watch videos etc,when I walk out saying this place needs to close down,she says thank you sir come again and proceeds to watch videos,Shane please sell this establishment to somebody that knows business,cause even your front desk lady who watches videos says that she has had numerous complaints about you and your establishment

Contacted them on 2 diffrent platforms for a booking with no reply.

Great place. I wasn't expecting much when we arrived at the entrance. But was honestly great. Service was fantastic, food was really good, has clean rooms, and decent wifi

Arrived on Monday, called to confirm my booking. The owner Shane was not available and his staff had no idea. I left 3 messages for him did not return my call. I recieved additional staff on Wednesday, same issue, no one knows what going on and Shane does not return any messages left. I eventually got hold of a lady that manages the Pub next door who assisted me, like on Monday for my booking. Sad to see customer service died. ?

Its just a chilled place... lots to do .. rooms are cozy and the bar is hype.. was welcomed by the most beautiful, professional lady by the name of zettia. Such a sweet sweet soul. Echo mountain is very lucky to have such an employee like zettia.

We at short notice stopped at echo mountian front door practically asking for a room right away. We were given a room and enjoyed our one night stay. If i happen to pass through Thabazimbi again i will only stay with these friendly people. A. Nel ?
