Die Geel Huis Guesthouse & Restaurant

This place was the worst place i have ever stayed in I stayed here for 4 days sheets never changed, shawer get has never refilled, they took the met i put in front of the shower and never brought it back on the 2nd day 3rd day only 1 tawel in the room. Spiders everywhere doors don’t close properly. I went to work i came back and my door was unlocked😫😫😫😫😫 yoooh never again

Mediocre. That is the one word that defines this place. Everything works, but nothing works well. There are lights in the rooms, but the are dim. The shower is warm, but not hot. The food is edible, but nothing great (except the steak, that is well over cooked and terrible). The restaurant and pub is only open until 6 pm, so people sit outside and make noise so you can't sleep. Just seems like the owners don't really care much.

A very well run Lodge . Staff are always there to help. Friendly service. I can definitely recommend them

The staff were friendly, but the restaurant is clearly misleading customers. The menu advertises a variety of coffee options, yet when we ordered we were told the only option available was instant coffee. There was electricity, so there was no valid reason for this. Advertising drinks that you cannot actually serve is simply false advertising. If these items are not available, the menu should be updated instead of misleading customers.

We had a super super stay! The staff are friendly and go out of their way to assist! The night security defnitely make you feel welcome and safe! There is wifi. Rooms are clean and spacious. Beds are sturdy and pillows puffy :-) Shower has strong warm water! Included a coffee station and towels for the shower. We booked the 'smaller double bed room' and still had a fantastic time as even this room was spacious! There is a small fridge and TV. The roses outside the rooms were in full bloom and it looked marvelous! The breakfast was super delicious! This was by far the best supprise stay over on our trip! We will be back for sure!

Look that place is amazing it looks great in and out side waitresses are very kind and friendly

We enjoyed our stay alot. The receptionist was such a darling and the cleaning ladies. The room was very clean and beautiful.

A Very neat and cozy restaurant before entering town. A nice and relaxing environment. Something different than Wimpy. Rooms available for travelers at reasonable tariffs. Their food is good and they serve a nice breakfast. Staff friendly and there service is good. They should just wear uniforms to make it more attractive. The only problem is that twice i had breakfast was there it was served cold. The waitress could also not say what jam was served.
