I've taken photos at many weddings at Dans Country Lodge and this time around I was very disappointed in the venue and the upkeep of the grounds. They are not well maintained anymore, there use to be beautiful scenic places to take photos and the gardens were beautiful now they have limited us to a few spots around the main lodge area. The rooms have looked the exact same for the past couple of years, no new improvements. I feel this place grew and grew and became more and more beautiful but at some point over the past 2 to 3 years it just stopped. I wish the owners could go back to the drawing board and start improving the place again. It use to be one of my favourite wedding venues but my visit last week left me very sad at its state. In all its still a beautiful place but there is alot of potential to be even better.

Poor network n connection in ATM,Otherwise the service is excellent

Room is clean. Internet does not work. Aircon does not work. Shower heads are clogged up, thus water battles to get through. One has to hand in keys at the gate before going anywhere. Upon return we waited 15minutes cause guard at the gate ran around to find out where our keys were. But overall it is a quiet place, and plus point is that there is a generator.

Thank you to the staff at Dan's for your exceptional service and attention to satisfying your guests' every request. We stayed in a Lake View room and had dinner and breakfast in the dining room. The room was beautifully appointed, with en-suite bathroom and the food was absolutely delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay there again on our travels.. Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
