We visited toward the end of December season. Unfortunately our linen was stained, though washed and the room was a bit bare. Communal braai, fridge and cooking areas had not been cleaned during our stay. The location on the river was great to see and enjoy. Could also do with some pillows for the wrought iron chairs on the porches.

Place is not bad a little TLC will go a long way. Some water filters is a must the water is super dirty and not fun to bath in or brush my teeth with. Lastly some fridges in the room will be a big hit share one that barely works with the other guests in a room that is never lockand is open to all is really not desirable as anyone can take your things even the workers.

Intriguing entrance and walkways. Loved it here. Close to the river so you can hear it from the room. Easy river access with picnic tables to have a meal. Huge lounge, bar, tv and games room with fridges. Kitchen area tucked away, but fully stocked with anything you would need. Our room was big with a king size bed and a lovely en suite bathroom. Safe and secure parking. The parking is quite a walk from the rooms so if it's raining (even if part of walk is a covered passage) both yourself and your luggage will get wet. There is no breakfast available or restaurant on site which is a little inconvenient if you're unfamiliar with the area as to where to catch a quick meal. Monkeys came through the trees but didn't bother us. Chickens walked past pecking in the flower beds. It was relaxing, quiet and really enjoyed our stay here.

Large spacious rooms, beautiful grounds and perfect countryside setting. Plenty spots on the grounds to sit and enjoy your morning coffee, down by the river, in the gardens overlooking the river. Also ideal for a nice picnic lunch while staying there. They have a lounge area with a pool table, and fridges to store drinks, and braai facilities as well. There is also a kitchen. Lovely setting and the owners are very friendly.

The place is a great little get away from the city rush. The king room was very cosy, warm and comfortable. The scenery is beautiful, great facilities..we loved every minute of the stay! Cleanliness and hygiene was 100% spot on at all times. Dave is an awesome host (thank you for the spectacular hospitality) however, allowing opportunists to take advantage of his kindness for free stays. The doors between rooms are thin. I would 100% reccomend a stay here, even after 10 days its was heart breaking to leave, it really has a tranquillity that helped restore peace of mind and return back to life rested and appreciating nature. Great work Dave and the team, keep it up?? you're awesome.
