Bundox River Lodge

Greeted at the entrance to the reserve by Chris, no need to drive into the reserve, we had a wonderful stay. The tents are of the highest quality made in Africa. The bathroom is large. The bedding is quality. The meals are carefully presented and very good. We were lucky enough to see elephants, crocodiles and leopards from the room. The swimming pool area is very nice. We were not able to take advantage of the Boma. Thanks to the whole team !

We spent 3 days/2 nights at the Bundox River Lodge. My husband and I are regular safari goers and I have to say that the River Lodge was a wonderful discovery. The riverside location is simply magical, the lodge is new and has been built with an ecological spirit. It's an intimate lodge on a small scale which makes the experience more authentic. The 5 luxury tents are large and very comfortable with a view over the river. The staff were very attentive and it was one of the lodges where we ate the best. Well done to the young chef. The management team were very attentive to our needs, and Chris, the manager/guide, was an expert in his field. He gave us information about the animals that we've never had at other lodges. One of the best guides we've had, as well as his tracker, which had the ability to find the smallest animal behind a bush... we called him 'eagle eyes'! Great team! We'll definitely be going back.
