Blue Gum Country Estate

Some times a last minute decision to travels turns out to be a real spoil ... a last minute booking at Blue Gum Country Estate has turned out to be a 'will definitely do this again' visit. Anton went out his way to accommodate us and our host Margaret was the best - attention to detail and making sure our stay was a great experience. The room was fantastic and the food (both dinner and breakfast) was superb. A great working farm offering peace and tranquility. A definite option if you want some space to recover, visit the beautiful town or visit the Chelsea Flowers in Stanford (book now for next year)

Had a lovely two night stay here, it’s in a beautiful location and close enough to go into Stanford for bakeries, restaurants ect. The owner and staff are very helpful and accommodating, we will definitely return. Thanks Anton!

Such a peaceful and calm environment, we didn’t even end up leaving the estate for the 2 nights we stayed. Incredibly friendly hosts that made us feel right at home. Rooms are well-equipped with everything we needed, our dog had the time of his life with all the space to run. Delicious breakfast. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Blue gum Estate, where we stayed in the Villa. Anton was incredibly accommodating, making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. The food and service were exceptional, with a special mention for the delicious afternoon scones that were thoughtfully delivered to the Villa. It’s those little touches that made our experience truly memorable. We will definitely be back!

We recently stayed at the farm, taking advantage of their winter special, and had a wonderful experience. Our family of ten stayed in the beautiful villa, which was spacious and well-maintained. The green countryside surroundings were lovely, providing a peaceful and scenic backdrop to our stay. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. We especially enjoyed spending quality time together playing games next to the cozy fireplace. Highly recommend!

Great location and spacious rooms and great decor and really comfortable but the only negatives are: The WiFi quality in the mountain cottages is horrible. And my room had an infestation of these black worms or centipedes on the balcony which begun to come into the room the moment I opened a window or the door to the porch. And there are no TVs in the rooms either.

Rustic country retreat - fantastic venue for a private event with warm and friendly service and delicious food. Highly rcommended!
