Driving to the destination is said to be the journey. This time I say differently. Upon arriving at Bare Feet retreat I was greeted with a warm generosity I will not forget. The hosts are amazing, the food is amazing and the harmony of the area is in peace. You are greeted further by a warm home cooked meal, and then to be welcomed into a cosy room with all the bells and whistles of creature comforts. From the lighting to the atmosphere of the room, it's a wonderful stay indeed. This lovely weekend getaway place is close to the beach and it's a 2 minutes drive from the central Scotsborough area. Environment is safe and well taken care of due the notable efforts of the community, another wonderful aspect of unity. This retreat has a lot to offer, while making sure you're bare foot on the beach.

Bare Feet Retreat exceeded all my expectations. The rooms are newly renovated, spacious, well designed and beautifully furnished. It is very clean and neat. The B&B has a stunning view over the ocean. We were spoilt with delicious 3 course dinners. Kim and Sander were amazing hosts. Thank you very much for your kindness and hospitality.

My stay at Bare Feet Retreat B&B was simply wonderful! I can't recommend this charming retreat highly enough. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the hosts who made me feel right at home. The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The highlight, though, was the delicious food served each morning. It was not only tasty but made with love and care, truly elevating the B&B experience. What a nice place ! The room is incredibly clean. Sander and Kim make your stay incredibly pleasant and enjoyable. Breakfast is freshly made for you with eggs, fresh fruit, yohurt, delicious sausages and every day another nice surprise. The B&B has a large and crystal-clear swimming pool overlooking the ocean. There are also blissful sun loungers. As Sander is a diver himself, he can inform you about all the fun facts about diving. This B&B is a safe place for solos and highly recommended.

The name says it all! It was a quiet retreat away from the bustling Christmas crowds. The room opened into a quaint courtyard that allowed for reading under the trees. When you sit and eat your breakfast on the lovely open-air verandah, the view of the sea is spectacular. The owners, Kim and Sander, were so friendly and accommodating. Not far from Scottburgh main beach and all amenities. It is very safe for a female solo traveler. The room was very clean and modern. Lovely design.

A lovely bed and breakfast, nestled just outside of Scottburgh. The rooms were immaculate and very quiet. The ocean view from the pool and braai area are great. The breakfast is definitely worthwhile and prepared freshly while you have your tea / coffee. Most commendably, the owners were absolutely fantastic... so caring, kind and helpful. I can honestly say that I've never been to a BnB with such attentive and hospitable hosts.

Truly unbelievable place, one of the most comfortable and friendliest accommodations I have ever stayed in. Kim and Sander really go out of their way to look after you in that if you are a diver, they extend your very early breakfast into brunch feast!! My room had its own private little sitting area outside and the room it self was very modern . Loved everything!!
