We stopped for a light lunch and a beer on Sunday afternoon. I had a chicken burger and my wife a chicken wrap. Service was good and the food was outstanding ! Certainly not the over processed mass production food that is dished out these days. It was real well prepared and tasty home made fare with generous portions. Similar to what we used to get before the franchises took over. Pricing is fair . We will visit again.

Nice place to stop when driving from Walvis Bay to/from Luderitz. Overpriced, but a nice hotel with good food. Note: Great star gazing!

Service a bit on the slow side, but when I went to ask for the Wi-Fi password I found my waiter meticulously making my margarita and it was divine. The service was slow but very friendly. The Wi-Fi quality also great, provided that you sit in the tiled area with road view and not on the wooden dinner area. The kitchen was out of all ingredients for the vegan options, but the fried mushrooms and fries were quite palatable. Would definitely come back and stay here as a guest and not just passing through. Margaritas were amazing.

We ate here twice. As others mentioned, the service is quite slow. The second day (today) especially. We waited a very long time for our drinks and eventually our food. However, our biggest issue was the difference in quality from one day to the next. Yesterday the food was absolutely amazing, I couldn't stop myself from overeating because it was just that good. Today, however, we were sorely disappointed (and we could actually compare because we ordered the same dish yesterday and today). I was excited all day to come back but now am going back to my camp site still hungry because the food was quite disappointing.. Yesterday the cook was great, today it feels like they put someone in the kitchen who doesn't even really know the recipes and just made it up as they went (tartar sauce is definitely not what was served with the fish and chips). In the end, I would not recommend because you have no idea what you're going to get.

Thursday night the food was awesome, on friday night it was just below average. I’m happy for the great night we had yesterday but today was lacking the great service, the great food, … All in all first day: 5 stars, today: 1 stars so a nice total of 3/5. Sure the place is clean and friendly but the disappointment is just too big at the moment to be any more positive.

Stayed in the self catering Orange House. Quite a nice little place although it can be noisy at night due to dogs barking and trucks thundering by on the nearby B4.... Ate at the Bahnof Hotel , food was ok.

The hotel restaurant has incredible food, that is delicious and creative! It is such an unexpected and welcome surprise in a small town. There is a section for vegetarian items with 5 mains, along with a few appetizers. There are not any vegan items on the menu however the staff was accommodating and happy to change menu items to suit dietary needs.
