African Safari Lodge is one of the best private game reserves we've ever stayed at with a view to die for. Their attention to detail and brilliant facilities leave you needing for nothing. They ensure a comfortable stay in a relaxing environment where all you hear is the occasional birdsong. What sets this experience apart from all the others is the friendly staff and one-of-a-kind manager. Their excitement is contagious and they make this little piece of paradise feel like home! Our stay at the African Lodge was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the warm and friendly staff, who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Their hospitality truly set this lodge apart from many others we’ve visited in the area. One of the biggest highlights was the range of activities for kids—a rare find at lodges of this caliber. Our children had an unforgettable time experiencing guided fishing trips and safe, well-organized hunting excursions, which were both educational and exhilarating. It’s not every day that kids get to immerse themselves in nature like this! Beyond the activities, the lodge itself was beautifully maintained, with comfortable accommodations and a setting that perfectly balances adventure with relaxation. It’s clear that African Lodge deserves another star, and frankly, that star should come from some of the other establishments in the area that didn’t come close to offering the same level of service, engagement, and warmth. If you’re looking for a lodge that welcomes families, offers unique experiences, and treats you like a valued guest rather than just another booking, this is the place to be. Incredible place , the location is unbelievable, they can arrange anything needed for game drives, and seamless in the delivery of. The team lead by Dean are professional but very friendly and you feel at home immediately. The food was a little disappointing but that would not stop me going back bearing in mind great self catering facilities. They will do anything to make your stay a pleasurable and memorable one. Could not recommend highly enough.

This place is a gem and it was an incredible stay with wonderful service, high level quality of food and management of every details around your stay there. Dean, the owner, takes you to the most interesting boat rides and he is such a good company. I recommend this place highly!

We had such an amazing time. The staff was excellent so welcoming and warm. It was my birthday and they made the dinner so special. The view is amazing and so tranquil. Would recommend it to anyone

It was a truly wonderful experience altogether! This game reserve has an unique and wonderful scenery due to river, which offers many activities. We enjoyed boat cruise on sunset and were able to observe even fish eagle! Also I highly recommen guided walk, which was very informative. Deluxe suites were excellent, clean ant tastefully furnished. Food was great. Whole stuff super friendly and puts a lot of effort to make your stay special.
