Lagoon Lodge

We stayed here for a research trip recently and Appel the host was truly helpful and kind. The rooms were always clean and breakfasts were amazing. Would go there again just for the coffee (Haha). We always felt at ease and safe and the guidance of where to go to see and understand the area better was a great bonus.

The manager Mr Appels needs a raise for going out of his way to help you and made the stay a pleasure will definitely book with him again and the view is a picture itself thanks again.

My wife and I went on a vacation trip and before reaching Knysna, she booked a room on Booking.com at Ireland vibe that turned out not so good. However we drove around a bit in Knysna and came across Lagoon Lodge, spoke to Appel and he had a room available for us and this for only R100 more than what we paid already. I really want to thank Appel and Johan for the excellent time we had there..breakfast included. Ireland Vibe is not a patch to your place. Lastly, we forgot our phone chargers there and before we know it, Appel made sure to post it to us in Bloubergstrand....thanks again Appel...5 STARS

Apple was extremely friendly and helpful when booking in. My sister and I arrived on the 6th January. Everything was perfect, accommodation, the views, the breakfast, the welcoming friendly staff. Our 4 night stay was fantastic and I wouldn't hesitate to book here again. Apple has a wonderful sense of humor and was extremely helpful in advising us on where to visit during our stay.

Great location. Welcoming staff. Neat rooms, Everything works. Glad to have a fridge in the room. Enjoyed the time here, especially the balcony.
