Worst spa experience!! I booked a spa treatment for my mom and I for the 21st March 2024. When we finally arrived at the gate we had to wait as there was no security on site to operate the gate. eventually someone was exiting the premises so we were able to enter. Upon arrival at reception the receptionist was on the phone and paid no attention to us till we waved at her at which point she handed us documents to complete while she concluded her call. while walking to the spa area i was chased down by one of the large dogs - needless to say I was petrified by this. Once we arrived in the change room (which my mom and I had to share) we found the gown arranged were too small, we were told these are the warm weather gowns and the only gowns that are bigger are winter gowns, we agreed to wear these (they did not smell fresh at all- clearly been kept away in storage). The massages were okay.

I had a spa appointment for the day, and i must say, i was impressed with the service and also the new Menu. I would recommend Hakunamatata to anyone who is looking for a very quiet, serene environment to unwind and just relax.

My school had recently taken us on a camp to this lodge and it was really fun, the staff were really friendly, we all stayed in 1 dorm, there was a swimming pool, a pool table, tuckshop and we had access to the kitchen for food, what more could u need? A few downsides to when we were staying here is that the cellphone tower was down so reception and signal was dead, there should be doors instead of curtains by the showers, a tap or bidet in the toilets for us to wash. Nonetheless it was a really fun and enjoyable experience!

When I was there the generator was in for repairs and the room I was in did not have WiFi access and being there on business it was inconvenient. Other than that the place is good. Nice location good restaurant and friendly staff, all I would ask is that they get DStv. I will go back

We checked in and checked out on the same day unfortunately. There is so much potential but due to some maintainance issues that potential is reduced. From a lack of water that we were not made aware of before check-in, to finding waste in the toilet after checking in, to a pond with cynaobacteria near one of the rooms, to a swimming pool which was not so clean on a hot day. Unfortunately, we just were not able to get comfortable, we were offered another room but declined due to overall dissatisfaction and discomfort and went home without a refund.

We had our year end function there, it was a nice place to chill and relax, food was okay - flies were a bit of a problem though, drinks a bit pricey but we had fun
