A Hidden Gem in Middleburg! I absolutely loved everything about this guest house and truly wished I had booked a longer stay. I’m definitely coming back the next time I visit Middleburg. The family who runs the place is incredibly warm and welcoming. The husband is well-traveled and full of fascinating stories, you will definitely be inspired to travel more. The wife and their children are so kind—they even gifted me plant cuttings when I left, which I found incredibly thoughtful and appreciate it. They communicated with me ahead of my arrival, shared the Wi-Fi password, and provided clear directions to the property, which made everything smooth and stress-free. As a runner, I also appreciated their local knowledge—they suggested a great route for my morning run that I really enjoyed. The garden is beautiful and peaceful—plant lovers will be in heaven. Breakfast was delicious, and the attention to detail in the room really stood out. I stayed in a budget room, but it felt like a five-star experience. It was well-stocked with coffee, tea, and rusks, and equipped with electric blankets, rechargeable lights, and candles—perfect for any potential loadshedding. This place gave me exactly the recharge I needed.

I only stay at Town and Country when I am in Middelburg. The rooms are always clean with everything you need. The staff and owner are friendly and helpful.

Jaco was so friendly and helpful after a mix-up on Bookings.com Me and my son enjoyed our stay and we felt super welcome. Breakfast was a feast and we enjoyed it very much. My place to stay in Middelburg from now on.

Absolutely the perfect place to hang out and rest. Safe and convenient and has this amazing comfy feeling. Loved it.

10/10 would recommend. We will go out of our way to make sure we stay at Town and Country again when in Middelburg. Friendly staff that went out of their way to accommodate quests.

I had only one significant issue with this venue, but it completely ruined my stay. Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, it was a nice place. . I have mobility issues. Two weeks before my arrival, I called their front desk to arrange a mobility scooter. Had they told me _then_ that I needed to contact a rental agency, I could have done so. . But they didn't. The fellow I spoke with said that they had such scooters and would reserve one for me. . He either lied, or did not know his job well enough to do it. . By the time I arrived, every scooter in the city was reserved for a different, much larger convention. . Their facility is large enough that I could not physically walk between my room and the convention venue. . I will never be able to trust this venue again.

What a nice Gem of a place. Was welcomed with friendly service, and my room was perfect. Everything was there that I needed. Will definitely be back.
