Mama Mia at Charlotte House.

Couldn’t be a more perfect place to hang out for your visit to Stilbaai. The rooms are huge (and you get kitchen/lounge, terrace (including brai area), bedroom and gorgeous bathroom. Mark is a fabulous host with great recommendations for the area. The beach is a short walk away thru some scrub and then down onto beautiful deserted beaches (as long as you’re not here during peak period!). Lovely hike from Jongensfontein Beach back to Charlotte House (12km along beaches and coastal path) - we took a taxi there as didn’t fancy the round trip! Coffee & Cream great for breakfast, Dave’s Kitchen (incl Dave driving us back here!), Goukou (great sushi), and Die Seekombuis all excellent dinner spots.

We've travelled extensively around the world and this is without doubt the best shabby chic place we've ever stayed. Top quality beds etc with lovely views of the bay and right next to a protected area which takes you straight to the beach. Mark, the owner is a great guy, other than being from Yorkshire but he can't help that!😁.... and is the perfect host....he even took me oyster catching!!

Very beautiful house. A like that design, beds were comfortable. I’m lucky, because I woke up early morning, because then children from other room were super noisy. Landlord was super friendly, thank you!

Perfect stay at Charlotte House. Great host and lovely accommodation. This place was a joy to stay at. Loved that you can walk straight into the nature trail and dunes right there.

6 stars would have been better. - Very spacious rooms! - private 'garden' with BBQ etc - huge private bathroom Optional breakfast (150 rand pp) Self catering possible Bbq allowed (encouraged)

Perfect location for long walks in bush or on beach or road. Large comfortable rooms. Very quiet at night. Super-attentive hosts.

Lovely quaint guest house with big, self catering rooms in beachy theme. Koffie, tea, milk provided and drinking water. Our room had a big terrace with braai (bbq) facilities. Located right on the edge of a nature reserve, with lovely views of the dunes & beach. Service is good and the accommodation well kept. To find it type in 'Charlotte House' in google maps, rather than the address, as the latter takes you to another house.

A Stillbay Gem!! What a beautiful place, the owner Mark checked us in, what a fantastic host!! The attention to detail is really something to behold, a lot of thought went into setting up this Guesthouse, the evidence is everywhere!!! We will certainly return, can’t wait to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and come back here to unwind.
