Kwetu Guest Farm

What a magical experience! We spent a winter weekend in Rhebok cottage - the hot tub under the milkyway was the highligh for me, as were the giraffes and other wildlife roaming the property. Sunset was spectacular, and the early morning view over the valley was worth getting out of bed for :) The cottage has everything you could possibly need, and the roaring indoor fireplace was a great way to end the evening (thank you for the complementary wood!). An added bonus was the warm welcome we received, as well as great communication from start to finish. Highly, highly recommended.

Loved the 3 day stay at Kwetu at the Cottage. The house was clean with all kitchen amenities, perfect to accomodate a family. The beautiful hills and a daily visit from the various animals was icing on the cake. Thank you Friedel for your amazing hospitality and seamless experience. Would definitely recommend to all.

The location is really special. Animals wandering freely. Accommodation is clean and comfortable, fairly rustic, but not luxurious. The thing that is special is that you are nestled in among the animals, giraffes, boks, wildebeest, ostriches, wandering past your window. We drove round first, then in the morning we walked around the site, the animals are everywhere, observing you with interest, while they are in their natural environment. The owner knows the giraffes need a few more trees and supplements their diet, I am sure he cares about he animals and does all he can to ensure they have all they need. Calm, peaceful, and the stars at night are something else, we saw the milky way so clearly, and a shooting star. Would highly recommend Kwetu Guest Farm.

Such an Amazing place.... Soooo quiet, and has everything you need with Swellendam a few km away if you really forgot something.We really enjoyed it and will be back.

Amazing experience like the other comments say. Don’t forget to order the picnic basket and the ready-to-cook breakfast.

Lovely setting with mountain view. What a delight seeing the animals drifting around, especially the giraffes in the evening.

We had an amazing stay at Kwetu Farm! The cottages are well appointed, feel very private and are beautifully set amongst the African scenery. We loved the walk on the grounds, spotting different birds, steenboks, eland, ostriches, ... and of course the giraffes! Very warm welcome from the farm host Friedel!! Wish we could have stayed longer...

Wonderful experience and stay at Kwetu Guest Farm. The people are hospitable and the houses are so lovely and private with your own hot tub. Can definitely recommend a visit here
