Starting our honeymoon at your lodge was the best decision we could have made. We honestly didn’t want to leave! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and special. The breathtaking views, the romantic gesture of red roses and a bottle of champagne waiting for us—every detail was perfect and deeply appreciated. Breakfast each morning was delicious and generous, and the room exceeded all expectations—spacious, spotless, and filled with thoughtful touches. We loved enjoying a warm cup of coffee or tea on the balcony as the sun set over the ocean. Falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves and the sight of the sea from bed was a dream come true. Your team truly went above and beyond. The staff were not only friendly, but made us feel like family from the start. Their warmth and care made a big difference and made our stay all the more meaningful. The location was ideal—close to everything Langebaan has to offer, with the added bonus of a private beach and refreshing cocktails to enjoy. Every day felt like a gift. Crystal Lagoon Lodge is in a great location, right on the beach. We booked a room with ocean views which are breathtaking. The room is however tiny, barely big enough to swing a cat. There are no cupboards, just inadequate shelving so if you are staying for more than a few days be prepared to be cramped. The room has no aircon, something you would expect from a 4 star establishment. The room gets very hot and uncomfortable in the afternoons. Do not stay here if you are older or have a fitness issue - there is a very narrow round staircase you need to get up with your bags. The check-in staff were less than friendly and made no effort to assist with our luggage. The day we arrived there was no power. They do not have a power backup solution. We arrived with food items we could not refrigerate. Again unexpected from a 4 star establishment. The breakfasts are satisfactory however the service is below standard. Several days the cereals were not put out. When we enquired the one day we were told that they were doing a stock take. It was 8:30 in the morning! We will not be staying at this venue again. There are nearby venues which are competitively priced which offer a significantly better product.

While the accommodation was great, I was extremely disappointed by an incident that occurred after the unit was cleaned. I had left my watch, worth R3500, next to the TV the previous night and forgot to put it on when I left the room. My family and I searched the entire unit, and when we returned, the watch was gone. It was very disheartening to discover that it had disappeared after the cleaning had been done. This experience was truly upsetting.

We stayed at Crystal Lagoon Lodge this March from Saturday 29th until the following Saturday 5th of March, 2025. We were'nt impressed with the room we had, Room No 4, on the top floor! Here are some of the flaws we encountered during our stay. 1) The front door key hole cover was hanging loose. 2) We struggled immensely to lock and and unlock the door. 3) The toilet light did not work. 4) There is no closets to hang your clothes, just award poles and wicker baskets to places your personal clothing in. 5) There is no air conditioning in the room, just a small rusted fan. 6) Struggled immensely with opening and closing the curtains, as slides did not move freely. So much so, I went out and bought some lubricant and lubricated the slides. 7) Curtains had stains on them. 8) The mattress was shot, not to mention the stains on it and the base. 9) No cutlery, plates, but a small microwave??? All this and they have a 4 star rating! I think not. View great and staff great, but thats where it ends.

Excellent location at the beachfront. The view is out of this world. Their breakfast is a must have. loved the place and will book again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Crystal Lagoon Lodge, with breathtaking views of the ocean and Club Mykonos in the distance right from our bedrooms. The staff were incredibly friendly, and our rooms were in excellent condition.

Visited for two nights. Quick friendly check-in. Room was comfortable. Very clean, and serviced daily. Kyle was just so welcoming and friendly! Bed was extremely comfortable. View from our room was stunning. Breakfast was tasty, and a fair helping.

Stayed for 3 nights, enough time to visit all the most popular sites and amenities. Hotel staff very helpful and accommodating. Rooms are serviced, very clean and with comfortable beds. Great restaurants, friendly locals, clean town with everything you need, and more. It's definitely one of the Cape West Coast Jewels!
