Calitzdorp Country House

We had a fantastic one-night stay at this wonderful B&B! The house is absolutely huge with beautiful ensuite rooms that were both spacious and comfortable. The outdoor area/the garden is brilliant and the pool was a perfect place to relax around and quick dip in. The family who owns it are so friendly making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We had a delicious breakfast in the morning before heading out. A perfect stay all around thank you Nell and Andrew for having us

Great small family hotel with friendly owners who make you feel "at home". Small but clean swimming pool to relax by with covered seating and shade from nearby trees in the afternoon. Classy home cooking with very generous portions

What a hidden gem in the Klein Karoo! We enjoyed the stay and the hosts was exceptional. This is a stunning location with Mountain View’s. Quiet and peaceful to rest and recharge! Nell made us one of the best vegan breakfasts we have ever had and was so surprised! Calitzdorp is a must visit and a stay at Calitzdorp Country house is the place to stay and make you time extra specials!

We loved our two night stay here as a family and can highly recommend their dinners which are complimented by a fabulous local wine list. The hosting was warm and friendly and the location perfect. It was nice to feel out in the countryside but only a 5 minute drive into town. Our walk around the town was most enjoyable thanks to the information in the guest folders.

We stayed here only 1 night, but we wanted to stay longer actually. Nice small village and a cute Guesthouse. This place makes it special because of the owners. Thanks Andrew and Nell!

A sleep over at Calitzdorp Country House is a must. Friendly owners. The hosts Nell and Andrew makes one feel welcome. Beautiful setting with vineyards in the foreground. Enjoyed meeting the Great Dane Dutchess and Staffie-X, Donatello. This Country House has beautiful furniture. Bedrooms with bathroom on suite are large and well equipped. Lovely gardens and a pool area. Enjoyed the birdlife.

The rooms we so clean with a perfect service and the location is good

Great welcome, the best home made meals, excellent service, beautiful house and rooms, lovely swimming pool and shaded lounge area and an oasis of tranquillence. Really really good.
