African Safari Lodge

It was a truly wonderful experience altogether! This game reserve has an unique and wonderful scenery due to river, which offers many activities. We enjoyed boat cruise on sunset and were able to observe even fish eagle! Also I highly recommen guided walk, which was very informative. Deluxe suites were excellent, clean ant tastefully furnished. Food was great. Whole stuff super friendly and puts a lot of effort to make your stay special.

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at African Safari Lodge. Our hosts, Fay and Mike, made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Our Deluxe River Suite was something you've seen on Top Biling. Filled with a huge dreamy bed, a luxurious bathtub where you can soak away the stresses of city life, private patio, and built-in braai overlooking the Settlers Dam. At night, you can open the concertina doors and have the sounds of nature fill your room, lulling you to sleep. For a small additional fee, they have an on-site Chef who is available to prepare scrumptious breakfasts, lunches, and suppers. For those who are a bit adventurous, such as ourselves, you can go canoeing on the dam, allowing you to spot some magnificent bird species and other wildlife, perhaps even a Buffalo or two! There are giraffe, warthog, monkeys, many different buck and even a snake or two. We went for a short hike, and we're able to spot some very special sights. This is truly a hidden gem! Do your soul a favor and go spend some time at African Safari Lodge! You won't be disappointed. Thank you for the most memorable stay. We will most definitely be back.

Peace, tranquility, and 5 star comfort. We spent our 5th wedding anniversary at the very special African Safari Lodge! Our hosts, Fay and Mike, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one of comfort and thoroughly enjoyable. Their friendliness made us feel right at home. Our suite, which overlooked the water, allowed us to experience the sounds of the bush and birdlife. We spent a wonderful morning canoeing on the dam, trying to spot the variety of birds and wildlife the Lodge is home to. We were blessed to spot a Buffalo wallowing on the bank of the dam. Spotted some giraffe, a family of warthogs, an owl, and many different birds. After a day of adventures, we were happy to retreat to our suite and relax in front of a fire. Our suite provided for our every need, with housekeeping and a wonderful, friendly gentleman named Gift who was always happy to show us around. Thank you, African Safari Lodge, for a most wonderful 5th wedding anniversary. We will most definitely be back!

If something takes your breath away, you feel surprise and admiration because it is so beautiful or exciting: The view from the deck and chalets took my breath away!

Another gem found, ticking all the boxes. Self-catering(with Braai) within a game reserve! Beautiful views over the water, spacious and quiet! Accommodation had all the necessities like heated blanket, heated fan to keep us warm and comfortable! Mike was a legend, going the extra mile on the game drive, sharing his wisdom and knowledge of the surrounding area, animals and vegetation. Fay and Gift were very attentive, with friendly gestures and regular check-in during our stay. Definitely recommended it's been an absolute pleasure!

Wow is a small word, but this is how we experienced our stay. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchen fits all your needs . If you need a brake away from the hussel, this will be your destination as you will enjoy the scenery, birds, wildlife like buchbuck, buffalo just to name a few so do take you binoculars with. They offer game drives and boat cruises, and you can canoe at your own leasure. I need to commend the housekeeping team as the rooms are spotless. Thanks to Mike for sharing all his knowledge about the area, we had a great chat. Thanks to Fay for updating us on all my questions prior to our stay. I will highly recommend African Safari Lofge to any person, couple, or family as you will not be disappointed

Beautiful environment, quite, tranquil and scerounded with wildlife. The rooms were exquisite spacious fully equipped. Excellent attention to detail and yet modernised. Africa Safari Lodge made it possible for a family get-together cellerating a 50th birthday as well as the downing of 2023. Thanks Africa Safari Lodge our experience and stay with you was but one of outmost joyful and peaceful in the presence of nature. I would highly recommend Africa Safari Lodge to anyone who would want to Breakaway and recharge away from the noisy city, feeling like a King and his Queen. Will definitely visit soon. Rooms spacious and had everything I needed. Chef Bulelani served an excellent breakfast and has the most wonderful sense of humour. My massage was really good - set up in my room with candles. Game Drive with Mike was really interesting and I learnt a lot about the trees and their medicinal purposes.
