Gabus Game Ranch

Had a great time here, lovely relaxed lodge with a beautiful mountain view. Love the private terrace off the rooms where you can watch the animals at the water hole. AC is excellent and the beds very comfy. Dinner was pricey for a lodge at N$400 but the quality was excellent so that made up for it, great breakfast too! Staff were all incredible, very warm and welcoming.

Absolutely world class service from a local family owned ranch. This was our favourite lodge during our trip in Namibia! They made our family feel so welcome, catered to our needs with young children and arranged fantastic experiences including a horse safari which was fantastic. Family room was amazing for kids, pool & garden so relaxing and the view of wildlife at the watering hole while eating lunch was so lovely. I’m fairly picky about accommodation and I highly recommend this lodge.

The woman doesn't treat her horses well. In my opinion, she trains them in an unhealthy way.

Wonderful place on the road from Etosha to Windhoek! The staff is very welcoming, Harold is an amazing host, the ranch is very beautiful, and we had a great horse ride in the sunset! :) We would have like to stay longer! We definitely recommend!

This is a working farm, staff friendly and welcoming, drinks reasonable price and a great buffet set out side, plenty of animals visited the water hole why we had dinner. Some of are party whated to go horse riding which they arrange specially for them in the morning before leaving. We worth a visit.

What an absolute pleasure to stay there. The rooms are spacious, well equipped with a beautiful view on a watering hole. The beds are extremely comfortable with the most luxurious goose feather duvets. The staff was super friendly and helpful and made us feel at home and welcome. The food was amazing. I will definitely return and advise any traveler to stay here. But do yourself a favour and stay at least two nights, one is just not enough.

I stayed here for almost three weeks at the end of the hunting season when most hunting scaled down. Nonetheless I had a very good time and the staff and owners made one feel right at home and I came to rest and for the game viewing and not for hunting. This is a place worth visiting as I have grown up on a game farm but never seen so many Eland and giraffe at a watering hole in my life before.
